Hello there, Bobot from Chicago's south suburbs. I'm fermenting my first 5 gallon batch. (I've used Mr. Beer prior to yesterday...) My 2 chamber plastic air lock is filled on the left side only. Should this concern me? I don't think, at this point, I should mess with it. Fermentation is bubbling away, so I don't want to screw it up now. Thanks. :cross:

If it's not broke, don't fix it. This probably isn't ideal, so if you have a second one then you could swap it out super quickly. But if you don't... then just call it SCIENCE!

Thanks, Lavender. I suspected that not messing with it would be the lesser evil.
After only using Mr. Beers, I have to say that I was quite impressed with the audible bubbling going on the next day.
