Great road trip, Great beers

Hi all
Just wanted to tell you all about our recent trip, from Maryland to Niagra on the lake and back to Maryland.

Had some great beers along the way and a fun time.

DAY 1
Drive from Maryland to Ithaca brew for lunch, great great beer, then on to a town called Aurora for the night, theres just one small bar but they had 26 craft beers from around the fingerlakes area Fantastic.

Day 2
Drive from Aurora New York to Niagra falls Ontario, if you have never visited the falls, Absolutley phenominal and a great boat ride into the falls too.
Once again great beers from Niagra brewing.

Day 3
Niagra Falls to Niagra on the lake, found a great english bar for dinner called Old Angel Inn.

Day 4
Tour the wineries and breweries around the area, notable places Silversmith brewing, great beers and great bar which is in a converted old church.

Oust brewing for great farmhouse ales, Gretsky winery and distillery for great whiskies and Konzelmann winery for wine and great views of Toronto.

DAY 5
Drive back to Maryland after a great few days vacation and around a 1000 mile round trip.

Girlfriend and I went to Niagara on the Lake a few months ago. We brought a case of Konzelmann back. We also went to Grestky on the way home and it was great. Wanting to go back to NOL for a bed and breakfast soon.

Sounds like you had a great trip. Been wanting to visit Ithaca.

If you ever get to Ithaca, stay in Aurora its about 20 minutes from Ithaca, we stayed at the Inn of Aurora, a really quaint inn and and a very nice place to stay on Lake Cayuga
