Anyone converted one of the "beverage center" style mini fridges with the glass door into a kegerator?

PICS?!?

Any specific brand/model work the best? What can it fit?

Thanks!

btt...

Nobody? Went through pages and pages of 'Show us your Kegerator' and only found one. Any help would be appreciated.

I've thought about this before (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/kenmore-beverage-center-conversion-221805/). My impression is that there haven't been many of these conversions.

Given the lack of info, and the ease of conversion with the cheap and widely available Frigidaire models (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/frigidaire-model-frc445gb-mini-fridge-kegerator-conversion-89013/), I decided to go a different direction.

Wish I could give better info. I'd like to see more of these conversions, but I'm not adept enough to blaze that trail myself.

Yeah, this is my first kegerator so I didnt want to do anything to out of the box but on the other hand, like robbybeers said in his thread, i think it would look cool. Get some lighting in there and i was gonna put some brewery stickers on the glass. I went to Lowes and Home Depot and measured a few but these were like $400 units. They would fit 2 corny kegs or 2 slim 1/4s and co2 (or 1 of each like i plan to do) the only thing i am worried about is refr. lines/wiring and stuff that may run through the top.

Ive got something similar to this as a fermentation chamber. But I bought mine off of craigslist for $50 bucks. I cut some foam board for the front glass to help insulate it better.
