At the behest of my colleagues, here I sit in the Funky Buddha brewery tap room, located just a couple of miles from my office. It is big and beautiful, dare I say, ostentatious even. It is reportedly the largest brewery in Florida now. Yet...I rarely drink here. In my humble opinion, the beer is just not that good. There, I said it. I feel much better. Fortunately, they have Sierra Nevada Barrel Full of Hops on tap.

You're there right now? And you're saying he Fire In The Hole habanero red ale, the Cornholio IPA, more Moro IPA, and the German chocolate cake porter are no good? I'd say you're alone there if so :)

Last night, watching the Panthers. I guess their beer just doesn't fit my palate.

I tend to agree with you. I don't know if it has gotten worse over time, or my pallet has gotten more discerning, but I just don't care for their stuff anymore, and especially their regular offerings. Good guys and they are definitely doing something right because that place is packed all the time, and growing. But I have moved on.

Try 26 degrees brewing company on Atlantic. I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed their offerings. Nice place, but it wasn't too busy. I hope they get some more traffic, because their beers, in my opinion, were better than what FB has to offer now a days.
