Frequent read finally joined

Hi all,

I've frequently read HbT threads while brewing (usually to confirm I was worrying over nothing) for the past 5 or so years and have finally joined.

I'm an extract with specialty grain brewer looking to branch out or, at the very least, improve my extract brews by making my own recipes, mastering yeast and tweaking water chemistry.

A belated thanks for previous help and an advanced thanks for future help!

Similar with me. I've been brewing and reading HBT threads for (about the same amount) for 9 years! Glad I finally joined. I encourage you to "do your own thing". Dont think that all-grain is the answer to everything. Playing with yeast and water chemistry are fun, and can have huge impact. The water aspect has more impact on a mash so you would at least need to do a partial mash, which multiplies your possibilities while not necessarily having much equipment investment and can even reduce cost of your brews. BIAB + extract can make superb beer.
