I did some searching and couldn't find a related topic.
I am soon going to be receiving an upright freezer for my house. I have roommates and we need some extra freezer space for food but probably don't need to utilize the entirety of the space.
Has anyone ever tried sectioning off part of a freezer to use as a fermentation chamber? Essentially I want to use the freezer for food and brewing. (I'll have to check the dimensions to see if this is feasible). Only looking for space for one bucket/carboy at a time.
I was thinking of some insulation board and a computer fan like many of the builds on this site. Any reason why this couldn't work? Would it be too cold?
