I’m glad it all arrived safely!
The Copper Leaf beer is from my friends brewery who went pro just over a year ago. His Flanders Red beers have been impressive in my opinion. He turned me on to that style and his knowledge is amazing with wild, funky and barrel aged beers.

Sounds like a plan! Thanks for running this round @pshankstar! If you guys don't mind, I'll wait just a bit to allow everyone to finish shipping their offers from this round and then I'll start the next round. That way I can also catch up a bit in my pipeline.

Got my loot of beer from @Dgallo today! Everything came safe and sound. Also appreciate you throwing in an extra @Dgallo with your own columbus hops. Excited to dig in and try these! Only one downside...my wife looked at these with a twinkle in her eye, meaning I will need to "share" lol. She also asked me..."when are you going to start making labels?" damn you @Dgallo !!
All these nice labels are making my Sam Adam's Octoberfest bottles look hella bootleg lol

So this is my first from the lot that @Dgallo gave me. Sorry for poor lighting as it was gloomy and no sun so these aren't exactly "beer-porn" pics lol. If you look to the bottom of the glass in both pics thats the lighter color that this is. But I was very intrigued in this beer because I 1) hadn't ever had an all columbus hopped beer although Id been wanting to do one myself, and 2) I probably hadn't ever had a beer with hops this fresh knowing that dgallo grew these himself.
Anyhow - its a great pale ale! opening the bottle I got spanked in the face with some earthyness/resin type aroma and the beer is pretty dang clear. Flavor is earthy/resin and thirdly on the back of the palate has some citrus which leans more towards lemon but without lemon acidity. VERY good. Its also assertively bitter up front more than other commercial pale ales Ive had but it works very well and doesn't wreck the palate at all and very drinkable. Curious since these are homegrown hops how you @Dgallo assumed what the alpha acids were at %? Nevertheless, this just confirms my thoughts on Columbus being a still relevant and stellar hop with LOTS of character. The malt bill also isn't loaded with tons of crystal/caramel malts that some of the older pale ales used to seem to have and some still do. Im guessing that the caramel/crystal was used with restraint just to add a bit of sweetness to balance. This beer still lets the hops shine through very well. Enjoyed it @Dgallo !

This is the last can from @DrGMG that I had left. Was going to say that I saved the best for last but that wouldn't be correct. They were all good and I enjoyed all of them. This is his Maple Blueberry Brown Ale that was excellent. Lots of Maple and sweetness that was very well balanced and I might add goes well with a cigar.
I added some coffee to it, entered it in a Fall beer category in our club comp, got third! I have some left in the keg, bringing it to a party tonight. Glad you liked it.
Package from @CaddyWampus arrived. Box may have been delivered by Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, but it's in 1 piece!! Into the beer fridge for cooling! Mix of meads, ciders, homebrew and local cans. Thanks!!
"Started" with some @CaddyWampus honey mead last night. 13.6% nightcap lol. Very tasty!!

Yup, a full week went by before Ive dug back into the stash that @Dgallo sent me. This one is great. VERY fluffy soft that coats the palate completely but but heavy at all. Not quite up to par with my senses but its definitely fruity with lot of stone fruit and citrus and citrus zestiness to it. Little bitter on the end probably due to intense hop rates, but its very pleasant. Great beer man! Im gonna have to make a run at this hop combo at some point.

So had two more brews from @Dgallo today. Was pumped to try these bretted beers. While both were excellent, I preferred the Hop'd up and Funky simply because it had a great brett character upfront and the fruit and hoppiness balanced it out to make for quite a complex beer. This was definitely higher hopped Im sure than most beers of this style but the bretted character was the star and elevated by the fruit and hops IMO. Forager still had some nice brett character as well but this one was definitely fruitier and the berry vibe was great. IIRC from reading about this somewhere on HBT this one in particular had locally sourced brett? @Dgallo please correct me if Im wrong here. Anyways, wife preferred Forager and I preferred Hop'd up and Funky. Both were excellent.
Just finished a Citra hopped cider from @CaddyWampus. Very tasty! Just enough added citrus flavor to the cider, if that makes sense. Well done!
Had a bochet mead from @CaddyWampus tonight with dinner! Very nice caramelized honey flavor. Not super boozy. Hit the spot after a dreary Sunday!

Had another of @Dgallo beers today and split it with wife. Don't blink....or else my wife will drink my share lol. Sun went down and crap lighting in the house, this beer isn't oxidized at all - just not the best picture. Another solid beer, need to try the citra/nelson combo lots in HBT have done but I have't yet. This is very tasty.

Another great beer from @Dgallo . was intrigued by this one. the orange zest adds nice fruitiness, belgian yeast (not sure which strain) adds more spice than fruits, and bourbon adds the depth of character. Maltiness is caramel forward. Appreciate the creativity and yup, this is a big-time sipper!
