There's plenty of chatter about hop storage with a food saver but what about yeast? I have a pretty good unit that seals liquids and thought it might make a good vessel to store yeast. What might be some pros or cons to using sealed bags vs vials or mason jars.

I can't see any problem with this, given good sterilization and you ensure the yeast are completely dormant (pop!). Seems like a great way to store them flat in a drawer in the fridge. I say try it out with some harvested/washed yeast and let us know how it goes.
