I know that a food grade plastic is important for mashing or fermentation vessels but I was following one of revvy tips on getting those water tray for wall tapestry so I could put my stirring spoon, autosiphon and all other things that cannot be put to sanitize in a small bucket (So they are fully under the sanitizing solution).
My question is does it matter that I put my stuff to sanitize in a non food grade plastic tray? Because when I start brewing I would prepare my stuff in advance and leave them to sanitize in the tray for maybe an hour or two before I need them (Not because I fear they wouldn't be sanitized in less, but because it would be done before I start my boil and some of these stuff are only needed later).
By the way I use Starsan as a sanitizer. It's also possible that leave these items in the tray with some oxyclean also when I will clean them.
Any thought?
