I'd expect at least 400.
Plus all of us DD’ers slamming kombuchaz in the Rocksoberfest tent. Whooo!

I'd expect at least 400.
thisGonna throw my hat into the ring for a ticket. I have no idea how I'll work it out if I get selected, but I will. Shoot first, ask questions later. Lets ride.
Should be interesting to see this years fest... I'm in. Going but hoping for another ticket for the wife. Was gonna book Highland Lodge but they do 3 night minimums in summer. Got an airbnb in Hardwick instead. Hoping for good weather!
Having LoG 1/15/16 (BA Farmer Wave) and having a bit of a holy **** moment. This is incredible, probably my favorite HF I've cracked open since BA Fear and Trembling around Christmas.
Also should note I had CD Citrus last night and it was very good, already improved from the one I had in February or so. I'm gonna withhold from having another til next year or so, I think it's going to get where people were hoping in time.
done. also just realized i posted this in the fofa thread not the hf thread![]()
It’s gonna rain. Always does man. lol.
'13 FoFA was perfect weather !It’s gonna rain. Always does man. lol.
Bus signups soon?![]()
We will have SLM setup again, location TBD. Pretty sure it’s gonna turn into an America-Canadian West Side Story kinda thing
Potentially in for SLM this year!

Answered by Kevin elsewhere- Like recent years, lottery tickets will be transferable; ticket are likely to be available for sale at the brewery at some point, but those will not be transferable.'15 was too!
Dumb question - but I assume tickets are still transferable, correct? Looks like physical tickets will be mailed again this year as usual.
I'm hoping they spread out the pouring stations and maybe have a mix of things at each one. Imagine walking up to Table #1 and having your choice of Double Galaxy, Marie, Anna (fresh), and Florence (with a couple years on her). Then you hop in line at Table #2 and your choices are Clara, S&S #6, Genealogy, and some random LoG. Maybe randomly pulling out bottle pours of something vintage just for fun, and to decrease / eliminate the line cutting / hovering.I wonder if this is Shaun’s reaction to the long lines for ‘rare’ beers, with people standing in torrential rain to not lose their place in a Side Project line, rather than standing watching White Buffalo with a glass of Anna.
Get rid of the other breweries, have the regular HF beers alongside a few vintage kegs, lay on some blues and nice food...

Individual drink tickets for "Premium / Vintage Pours" might help quell the line issues - both the long wait times and shitlord line jumping. If everyone gets, say 5 specially colored tickets for premium pours, and HF has enough of each "premium" beer to account for all tickets, there will be no reason for anyone to wait in line for anything but meat pies and Caja Madera.
I haven't been to one, but I believe Tree House has done something similar at their anniversary party. Your orange ticket is good for 1 pour of Vanilla Double Shot, and your green ticket is good for King Hazebomb McGee, and your white ticket.... etc...
# of guests x 2oz per pour = Total amount of Premium Beer 'X' you'll need for the fest.
Quintessence was very similar (tickets for specific pours and food at different stations throughout the brewery) and I thought it worked well, especially how it moved you through the tour. Sure, there were a few sections that were crowded and those attempting and gaining extra pours, but I felt like I was able to enjoy my time there with friends. It didn't feel "hectic" at all.
Not including the line to get bottles though![]()
You mean the line you and your buddy cut?
Since you asked: Seeing people you recognized that had already been in line waiting and sidling up like you're hanging out and then just staying there like you'd been there the whole time is cutting. It was both you and your friend that did that together at the same time. No one was saving your spot. Then you both had the gall to stay there despite being asked by the same people you said hi to and cut to go to the back of the line and then pretended not to hear anything. We cut a line? My friend and I both got in line: I went back with my tickets to finish out my pours (last 2 HF and last 3 Cantillion, and we then switched. I'm not sure how getting in line early equates to cutting.
Would like to know how you came to your conclusion.![]()
