Actually, since the overlying random process has a uniform distribution, every ticket is equidistant from every other ticket.
Oh sure, and next you’re gonna tell me that just because black hit 6 times in a row there’s not a better chance of red hitting next time... ******’ commie

Anyone know if there’s transportation/cabs to Hill Farmstead from anywhere nearby like Stowe, Waterbury, etc.?

Yes, you just pay a premium. Google car service Burlington/Waterbury/Stowe and you should get a handful. I looked into it prior to raqnroll organizing the bus in prior years and I want to say it was around $75 - $100 each way.

We used Capital Car Service last time we were in Waterbury, and they provided us with a large passenger van for a very reasonable rate. They dropped us off and came back promptly when we were ready to leave. https://capitalcarservicevt.com/

Dope! So there we go!
Anyone doing any of those cities willing to share for a van?

Who gonna be there Friday at open? A good chunk of us? I know I will be.

HF just posted on FB (replying to a comment that they won't be releasing an official FOFA taplist - everything will be a surprise minus possibly teasing a beer or two on social media

Honestly I don’t really care what beers they serve as long as they offer some sort of “you don’t need to wait on line” option that lasts the entire day.

I believe that was called the Mary line last year or two

But yeah — them having a couple easy to obtain options (pilsner cans, full pours of this year’s shelfies, whatever) will make the day for me.

The whole #linelife/ticker nonsense is my least favorite aspect of the craft beer world, so I’m definitely hoping to be able to take the occasional break from the fancy stuff and just drink some good beer outside.

(That said I’m sure I’ll end up lining up for the fancy stuff just like everyone else lol.)

Yeah but it’s better waiting in line with a full pour.
11 days fuckers

I hope the line situation is like it was back in 2015, when there were essentially none. Pretty sure Being and Time and KdF were the only lines that day, and both of them moved relatively quickly. Flora b6 laps was pretty chill.

You must have been past out during Sarrasin

Lines will get crazy this year as always, the Tim Clifford residency beers are dropping and you know everyone will line up for those

Last year I feel like the only really bad line for most of the first part of the day was Side Project. I avoided it until the big stuff kicked and it was down to a reasonable length. The lines were actually worse towards the end of the day because there were so few things left, which I suppose is predictable and there's not much that can be done about that short of having tons of extra kegs.

And they really shouldn’t run out of beer this year.

Ah yes, forgot about Sarrasin. So 3 beers total, had lines.

I'm all for the surprise and no lines... truth be told, the weather was rough last year but every other year, there have always been beers available w/ little to no lines. Lines usually were limited to 1 or 2 breweries and when certain kegs were tapped.

You also forgot about Crooked Stave, which wasn't pouring anything crazy special but had a massive line anyway, because all the beers were in 375ml bottles that they were taking forever to open and pour.

I did not wait in that line.

Was it last year or two years ago that Ferillo was pouring for Dupont and came up and down the big lines giving everyone bottle pours? That was a first class move.

That was definitely 2016. I think people were desperately trying to kick the Flora B/R/C keg if my memory serves me correctly

Are there any shares Friday in the Stowe/Waterbury area open to a couple more strangers with even more good beer?
