does anyone know of a cheap (inexpensive more then cheap) flow meter that i can install so as to measure the amount of water being transferred from HLT to MLT?
I don't have anything as of yet.
I have no markings or sight tubes on my keggels and it's very difficult to judge how much strike water to add how much sparge...
I need a quick an efficient way to measure the amount of water transfer from one keggle to another
It would work, just check and make sure the temperature range will work for brewing. I'm an industrial controls engineer, so I'm not familiar with the Linux based controllers.
Those units are calibrated in cubic meters, not useful for home brewing.
1 m^3= 1000 l
Get one calibrated in liters or gallons, Omega Engineering sells them.
I use one from Omega.
