first beer

Well I tried a glass of my first brew. It is a pilsner and it has been in the bottle for a week. I put 1 bottle in the fridge for a couple of days and cracked it open. I was very pleased. It was not carbed all the way yet, obviously. It had a good color, very clear, a little more hoppy than a pilsner should be but over all I am very pleased and I can't wait to start drinking them and start my second batch. I want to say thank you to all the folks on here that gave me advice along the way and I will most definitely be more patient and less anxious on the next batch.

You haven't started the second batch already!?

You'll be sorely disappointed when you have finished all the pilsner and have another few weeks to wait for your second batch!
