Hey everyone, so im proud to say me and a buddy made our first batch. We used an extract kit- true brew's pale ale ingredient kit. let it ferment for 4 weeks, then bottled for 1 week minimum. Pleasantly surprised with the outcome. We have no clue what the alcohol% is as we didnt measure it correctly when we put it in the fermenter lol. But about 2 gives you a slight buzz. Its got a spicey taste to it, which surprised us both. Its almost in between a hoegaarden and mad elf flavor.

Definitely see why people say this is an addicting hobby. Just bought ingredients for 2 more batches haha! Brew on!:rockin:

Congratulations! Down the rabbit hole you go, this is your last chance to take the blue pill????

So what are the next 2 batches going to be?

hahaha as a matrix nerd i would like that comment 500 times.

going to go with 2 more pale ale batches, but spice it up with some flavor. looking to master one type of beer before changing types.

gonna be going with a banana pale ale, and a citrus/orang-ey pale ale...

make em in 5 gallon batches, it aint summer without some good beer!
