I have a few Firstone Kegs, atleast that's what the bottom of the keg says, that need their posts replaced. I created a socket to fit the posts but one was too tight after cleaning and I ended up breaking both pins off the post.

I am confused as to what post I need. I have seen on some retailers they sell firestone and cornelius but I thought Firestone was the maker of the Cornelius type keg. What makes the posts different? Is there anything I can do to make sure I get the correct post?

Much like a car, you need to know the make and model of the keg.

It's stamped on the keg ;)
