I have an IPA fermenting that was stuck at a gravity of 1.024. My target gravity was 1.018. Starting gravity was 1.073. That's never happened to me before. So I made a starter with some DME and a half packet of dry yeast and then added it to the fermentor. It took off, now a week later the gravity is at 1.009. I'm going to let it run at least another week and take a couple more gravity readings. But, what is my new target final gravity? I've never had a beer go below 1.010 before. By the way, I don't waste the gravity sample, the beer tastes good.

Cheers!
