Hey there,
So there is a hardware store super close to where I live that refills paintball co2 tanks.
I went there to refill my 5lbs tank for kegerator, and unfortunately they were not able to fill it (they were able to screw in their adapter, but couldn’t force co2 into my tank.

Is there something / an adapter I could buy to be able to go to these guys to refill my tank? Otherwise it’s a 30minutes drive :\

I know this doesn't help you, but I'm under the impression that they are the same connection. I called a local sporting goods store that refills paintball c02 tanks and they said they could fill my keg c02 tank because the connections are the same. Haven't tried them yet, but I will when I need a refill.

Yep I confirm the connection is the same, but the pin on their adapter is too short, it won't reach far enough in our co2 tank... Well that is what he told me...

Do you have a local soda distribution company? One the distributes soda kegs to restaurants and the like? They may be able to refill your tank.

I have one local to me that filled my tank when I bought it. I'm still going to try the sporting goods store next time I need a refill. Always nice to have a backup.

Unfortunately I do not :(

Really looking to get an adapter from Paintball tank to our co2 tank..
