The stack of cans on pallets was ceiling high today. They planning on filling them all for Wednesday?

I guess thoughts changed in the last 18 months.

Sarris: But you're not bottling or canning -

Tweet: No, not yet. We will be bottling hopefully before the end of the year. I don't want to can out of here because it doesn't suite our business model. We don't have flagship beers and we don't do year-round beers. I tell everyone I have a 50-barrel pilot system.

...They totally have flagship beers, I guess it just took them a while to realize it. Also, lol at "doesn't suite our business model."

Do they? Some stuff I've seen more than others, but they have 16 beers that have between about 2,000-3,000 reviews on Untappd.

I guess it depends on what you mean by flagship, but I think they've realized that Galaxy Juice is easily their best IPA so they promote the crap out of it. That should be their flagship. They also have the same few IPAs on pretty consistently though I'll be damned if I can remember their names because they all taste the same. So maybe they don't have any flagships because their production scheme is kind of dumb?

Yeah, I remember them hyping that coconut IPA as being a hot commodity though I'm not sure it really is. Galaxy like you mentioned and the Pulp line are more memorable.

Either way, Cellarmaker seems to be doing very well with their bottling releases eventhough they don't have a real flagship either.

Yeah, that entire interview was idiotic. Outside of Tree House, the vast majority of can wales are semi-one-offs. That's why it's a license to print money.

Are canned IPAs really that special for a place that has been doing crowlers for awhile?
Actually going for the Bad Conduct cans. The other two fill be on for Crowler fills, so agreed I don't really get it.

I mean it'll be nice to have the option for smaller format, but I really hope this isn't some super hyped release.

Sac had about 50 in line at opening. The line had grown some by the time I left with my cans. I was 15th in line and saw 2 people ahead of me buy 0 Conduct cans.
