Wasn't bad, but has that same chocolate syrup finish that all More stouts have which is decidedly not my thing. Prop 14 was so much better especially as we opened this just afterwards.

I'm not into beer without the percieved risk of developing diabetes directly after consumption

Thats why I add a squirt of Hersheys Brewers Syrup to all of my drinks

Glad you enjoyed it, had two pours of it this evening and if I didn't have another event I would have played the game to see how many I could have drank before I required an Uber.

Tom Cat Gin barrels from Copper and Kings in Louisville. LT made the connection a couple years back at The Festival and the barrels have been a point of conversation for folks for a year + (they have bright orange head staves and the classic Black Cat logo stamped on them).

Also the head brewer did just drop a quote to rmalinowski4 that their is a plan for bottles next week.

Also got to try this masterpiece tonight (excuse the Chicago Pour, I was drinking before I remembered to take a picture)

I played that game for you, well for all of us really.

Also, while you were all complaining about the best bottle shop in the city, news came through on the half acre instagram that cans of Zapora drop tomorrow. I was already hype AF for their party tomorrow and an Asadero run but now it's on. Hopefully Indefinite Portal is next.

You tried the cans yet? Trying to decide if worth a trip in. Ain't cheap at $15.99.

I missed Delilah's sour fest and thus didn't drink '99 Oude Geuze for the first time in the last eight years. Damn bad influences leaving me a message this morning. Did anyone go?

It was good but didn’t blow me away like the first batch which had just an amazing nose and lacing. I may be biased because I was sore about the $10 20oz pour but I would make the drive if they still have battle of Trenton. That was fire.

I didn't make it out there with the Dodgeball tournament at Goose Island going on, but did see this picture this morning on Facebook.

Seems that Mike Miller's old lambic supply is never ending.

I think 2000 Classic is the only beer from that picture I haven't previously ticked at Delilah's in years past. It's still a blast, despite paying $7 for a one ounce pour of old beer. I've never seen anything cost nine tickets before though. Mike is a nice guy too.

96 Iris is worth $9 per oz for sure, but yea that is the "priciest" one I can remember.

Agreed on Mike being a nice guy, always seems happy whenever I see him there or at Bottom Lounge.
