I miss cademon. His daily fb posts of fruit fly colony’s, warm lines, cooler going out, impending doom, etc.
You forgot something:

Good times at Stoutfest yesterday. The event wasn't oversold at all, which felt a bit refreshing. Seemed like none of the Goose stuff kicked at all. Offerings from everyone else has all over the board. You had More and Lil Beaver debuting new stuff and Mikerphone and Haymarket rolling outnsome recent seasonal hits.

Those middlebrow -nies were pretty tasty too

this was sorta my first introduction to the pastryification of stouts and quite frankly i dont know how people do it. i had like 10 2oz samples and i wasn't even slightly drunk but ive never felt so sick in my life. my body is not made for drinkin 3000 calories of liquid sugar. its like bringing boones farm to a wine fest. no wonder why beer will always be middlebrow. see you in hell pastry boyz

also best part was line out the door for non BA More beers while benthic was on tap right next to them with no line or customers.

When you have to get your feet chopped off as a result of your pastry-stout induced diabetes, which do you think will impress the surgeon more: diabetes via Benthic or diabetes via stouts brewed by our lord and savior: STB?

Trakking Light is dang good stuff.

I'll take Fader over Alpine Rain.. but like both. Totally understand the folks that do like it more but Fader is great.. and I'm definitely on the team that likes it more than Pony.

New batch of Topanga Gulch is great too.. drinks far too easy (which many of HA's big winter hop beers don't) for its ABV.

I guess Akari drops Friday too.. know we got a good #TeamAkari presence here..

Dug them both but probably won’t revisit at $12.99 a four pack unless it’s somewhere I can’t bring bottles of tooth and claw.

Look man, I don't like Maynard either, but I will not have you slighting fried food.
oh im not, just hilarious that everyone would say blah blah chicken wings and he lands at a place that has a ton o fried food. when i look at this menu all i see is a 4 mile run on a treadmill, though it does mostly sound good. anyone ever eaten there? everyone in the south burbs talks about soundgrowler (I think thats the name) tacos.

Soundgrowler's food is alright. Never did food at 350. Their beer isn't good enough to go back for food.

The food at 350 is good. The beer.. well.. ehhhhhhh.

vav were you even aware the old head of the guild was still around. sorta hilarious he landed at 350 which as far as i remember has a menu consisting of mostly fried food and chicken wings.

Oh I see this now and wow.

Radio silence after that "You got fired, bro".

Justin has kinda morphed into that guy that makes a lot of long winded FB posts just so everyone else will know he's REALLY doing great. Honest, guys.
