I was about to open my last Rare and opted instead for a 2013 BCS - will pull the trigger on that last beer this weekend for sure.Long story short: came home from work to find my basement flooded so I couldn't go to my local (whose tap list was SOLID tonight) to see them win like I did in '10 and '13. Finished a 2014 and 2013 BCBS in the living room instead of my usual spot in the basement. But now I feel like I'm due for a 2010 BCBS because **** rain and hell yeah Hawks.
I recall meeting a former RB mod at my store years ago; he said RB had a "more serious" membership than BA, albeit much smaller.
Looks like Une Anne is crowd-funding to help with a location for a sour beer series. Anyone thinking of joining? I have really liked what I've had from them, my interest is definitely piqued,

(oh, and BLACKHAWKS)
I do not agree. Now's a great time to trade for Vintage if you can. So few people have actually opened theirs to realize that this is a substantially better beer than Wild Sour Peach and the barrier for entry to obtain this is far less.
I do not agree.
Vintage needs time. It has a sweetness that I do not prefer in my AmeriLambic. B2 Splinter Gold-ish.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Vintage the base of Wild Peach? That's how I'm reading the WP label since it says it uses a blend of 3 different ages. And WP was funking up nicely based on the last one I opened.
Just pull a FW and do Atine§.http://halfacrebeer.com/blog/
Goneaway IPA fka Senita fka Heyoka.
Maybe they should just make it a symbol like Prince or something.
Thank you Sir. I forgot it was a brown.Nope, it was the sour brown base. Dan has 2 different bases, one blonde and one brown, last Peach I had was darker than Beyonce...
From Ratebeer: 2014 Great Taste of the Midwest Release - Sour brown ale with Michigan peaches. Spontaneous fermentation aged on oak. Blended with one, two and three-year old beer. Oak, leathery and horsey notes with hints of bourbon. Complex quenching, sour ale.
Lagunitas.I love the style of their blog posting.
All that said, I'm struggling to finger what beer and brewery it was that approached them this time.
Thoughts?
Lagunitas.
Then I'm out of ideas.Half Acre posted on Facebook that it was not Lagunitas, in response to a comment.
i've applied, idk how much longer I can take a desk job... just a matter of if i could make it work financially/can i really give up the life that deskjob money has turned me intoAny lab scientists want to work for Half Acre?

Perhaps a certain brewery in Wisconsin might want to protect their brand as well...

Aye, this struggle is real for me too.
Wasn't that Clybourn that posted that? I'd think that their stock of BCBS is limited by whatever deal they have worked out with InBev.Sometimes beer/breweries make me laugh. Goose Island just posted "In honor of their #StanleyCupWin last night, we just tapped Goose Island Beer Co. 2014 Bourbon County Brand Stout! Get it while it lasts!"
Get it while it lasts? It's an f'n Stanley Cup Championship. You know they've got plenty BCBS. They take it all over the country. Put the beer on for the week. When I see stuff like that I start to understand more why some hockey fans have such big chips on their shoulders about fandom. Their title doesn't warrant Prop, Vanilla, Coffee? Their title doesn't warrant flowing BCBS until the parade is done?
Anyhow, I just found that funny. I plan on enjoying some variants with friends soon to celebrate the Cup.
I do not agree.

Holy ****! He lives!I definitely think it needs time, but to say it's B2 Splinter Gold-ish is a stretch, IMO. Case and point, B2 Splinter Gold sucked, and Vintage 2014 does not. It seemed like it would age well.
