I drank so much Abrasive on draft in 2010 and then realized it was re-branded 16 Grit.

I'll be honest. I expected someone to come at me with "Chicago didn't get Surly in 2010!" or "Did you live in Minneapolis in 2010?"

So while maybe an ass, at least I didn't get the chance to correct you.

The first time I had Abrasive it was one of my- at the time- common Saturday afternoon walks to the local bar. Loved Furious at the time so got pumped at seeing it on the list and ordered one. Fell in love. Then ordered something else because that's what you do when you want to try a **** ton of stuff, right? Kicked myself because it kicked when I walked back the next day... Luckily I have a sister in Minneapolis, which gives me annual treks to MN.

Aaron Rodgers broke his collar bone (Shea McClellin of all people) and was out 2 months, so 6 games. If that's a good frame of reference...

I really don't see any value that it is bringing to the beer scene. Like 2 years ago it was a great place to share info and get info, now it's just a lurk and hope someone shares some info that is close to you and you can drop what you are doing and be there in 5 mins.

I have not bought beer other than Senita in Chicago since before Christmas. Most likely because my 2 society memberships went active 1/1, so I dont have to F with running out and getting the newest adjunct peanut brittle cognac stout and can sit on my ass and have awesome beer sent to me.
