Part of me wishes I kept up on the special tappings around the city but a lot of me doesn't give a ****.
#newmoney on CCBE thinks that Consecrator is a new beer from Bell's (and thinks that it's overpriced).
Anyone headin up to gods country this weekend and interested in picking me up a few enigma 4-packs?
Yo - Goose Island Stout Fest tickets go on sale this Friday. Going to try and make it. Hopefully everyone else will be in the house.
I wonder how much $ the #newmoney crowd would pay me for my MBA presale password for Stout Fest? Or at least what they'd do for my 3rd or 4th full MBA booklet...
Word up my man, glad to hear that you will be in attendance. Should be a great time. Cheers.See you there!
If you change your mind, you could probably do well with them. Lots of Goose stuff goes for good $$$. I'm actually tempted to buy a nuthulu, but I'd like to find one for a better price than the current listing on MBC.I wonder how much $ the #newmoney crowd would pay me for my MBA presale password for Stout Fest? (Full disclosure, I would never sell anything related to my MBA membership!)

I really enjoyed Festus. Best way to describe it is black IPA-esque with notes of dry, bittersweet dark chocolate. That said, their bombers are on the low end of local prices and they're hoping to introduce regularly priced six packs soon.Had an Ale Syndicate Wolf Point last night and was pleasantly surprised. I thought Richie was solid too, but didn't hear much hype about it. Seems like they are headed in a good direction.
I keep seeing Festus Rotgut around and the packaging intrigues me. It has a decent untappd rating but the price point seems high for what it is. Anyone here try it and feel like it's worth buying? So far I've avoided Arcade and wrote them off as just another "put everything in expensive bombers" brewery.
How do you feel about giving it away for free to people who are semi-internet famous?I'm not selling my password, I've been an MBA for years and wouldn't stoop that low. I am not even going to Stout Fest, I haven't gone in 4 or 5 years, but I'm not going to sell someone my presale password either.

Looks like the FIBs cleaned out most border-county locations that had Enigma. This according to the other site, so who knows if that's actually the case.
Okay. I mean, frankly, I don't really care if you sell your password or not. Personally, I'd give it to away to LB rather than let a password go to waste. He is a nice dude and would appreciate it I'm sure.I'm not selling my password, I've been an MBA for years and wouldn't stoop that low. Interesting beers due from Off Color later this month:
Finally, on Tuesday, Feb 24th, we'll be doing an official release of our two new Scandinavian beers up at the mighty bar of the north... Hopleaf (5148 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60640). We'll have Bare Bear, which is our Finnish Style Sahti and Gotlandsdricka (think smoked, rye barley wine). Come to watch me say Gotlandsdricka, stay to watch me say Botszlaambstrickkaaaah when I drink too many Bare Bears. We'll probably have a couple tasty food items on the menu to pair with the beers too.
Nope...

Cracked my last king Henry and cried into it...well past its prime![]()
I'd agree with this. Had it a couple weeks ago and it's definitely gone downhill.
If Amy and I both get MBA presale tix and you are unable to get them via regular sale, you can certainly use our extras.
