So I wound up picking up a four pack of Dino Smores (never should've told my girlfriend about it). People seriously line up for it? WTF Chicago.

It's a shelf stout, it's good enough (especially when put in Wild Turkey barrels), but there is no chance I would ever wait for it. Especially when Apex Predator sits right there.

And considering they're releasing the rest of the 500 cases of DinoS'mores this week, I think it shouldn't be too hard time...

That's my guess, when the person who told me this said it'll flood the streets next week. It all depends on how nuts everyone goes once it starts hitting all the stores...

I'm having some serious deja vu right now...

All this talk about root beer...I had some the last time it came out and it was alright, but nothing I'd go out of my way to get.

Screw all this root beer talk, how about the fact that I've called 5 liquor stores in Kane County just trying to find one that if I stand in line long enough I'll get a full allotment of BCBS and that's apparently too much to ask. What in the holy hell is going on around here? So places expect me to stand in line before 9AM to get a 4 pack of BCBS, a choice of one 12 oz "variant," and a choice of one bomber? It's looking a hell of a lot like I'll be looking for a local bar on Friday or Saturday night to go overpay to try a bomber of Prop or Vanilla. I mean if you don't want to sell BW or coffee in a 4 pack, that's fine with me. I don't even get a bottle of each of those?!? At this rate, I'll be throwing up ISO for Vanilla Rye on Saturday. Take all my Bruery stouts. Balls.

So basically sounds like the same allocations as last year, at least at St. Charles Binny's.

Last year Binnys Arlington Heights had a 1 variant rule as well. Was hoping to find a place that allows a full set but that seems pretty tough this year.

Just called Schaumburg Binny's asking same thing. They couldn't give me any answers. Only that they will sell it at 9a when they open. Don't know allotment, and don't know prices.

Downers Grove Binny's twitter made it sound like you'd be able to get a full allotment of everything, but I haven't gone in there to confirm. Oak Brook didn't tell me anything when I asked last week, but I would guess they'd be a super **** show anyways.

@Joshua_Cochrane My guess is 9am on BF. fcfs and 2btls of Coffee/bw and one of each on everything else. That's how I'd do it.

***PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT DETAILS***

11/28/2014:

2010 Bourbon County
2009 Bourbon County
2014 BCS Coffee
2013 BCS Coffee
2010 BCS Coffee
2014 BCS Vanilla Rye
2010 BCS Vanilla
2013 BCS Backyard Rye
2014 BCS Proprietor's
2014 BCS Barleywine
2013 BCS Barleywine

11/30/2014:
As has become our tradition, to help those Chicagoans who may have traveled for the holiday, we will have a SMALL amount of BCS available beginning at noon on Sunday, November 30th. There won't be much - we're sorry. To make up for it, we will have some other fun stuff out on the shelves and a few cool bottles open to taste, including, but not limited to, Goose Island BCS Rare.

Please understand that we are a small shop, and will try our best with what we have. We don't want anyone to leave empty handed, but can't promise that won't happen to some people. With that in mind...

We will not be able to hold aside bottles for anyone. No exceptions.

We will not be putting any BCS online or shipping it in the foreseeable future.

Thanks in advance for all your understanding,

-The Beer Temple

That's not going to be a **** show at all

Saying 2010 Vanilla will be for sale is like ringing a Neckbeard mating call bell.

I hate that BCS is so good that European trading partners want it in exchange for their lambic that I can no longer get either. Im looking forward to relaxing on sunday at the Transient party and getting my easy bottles.
I almost forgot about the Transient release! This just made this future poopshow of a weekend much more exciting!
