great release. red wine betise (oud bruin) and wayward (brett pale) were highlights.
Did anyone get a chance to try the citrus saison at Transient? It hadn't been tapped as of about 1:30 when sleuthdog and I left.
Was that the Obelus Moteuka? Didn't try it today but had it at a fest a few weeks ago and thought it was solid. If I had to rank, I would put it above the chardonnay obelus but below wayward, realizing wayward is a different style.
Not sure of the name. All I saw were the words "citrus saison" peeking out from under the taped paper.
**** the Bears. I should have gone to this instead.
Anyone know what the pickup availability is now? Can I just go to OTP anytime to get my bottles?
When he announced, I asked if bottles would be available to pick up at later dates, and he said yes. Just wondering if anyone knows if that means anytime or I have to schedule.Pretty sure you were suppose to email Chris already
I'm wondering what the plan is for the unsold extra bottles. Only bought 1 during the release, but having tried a couple of them tonight, I would like to buy many more![]()
Which have you tried so far? Interested in hearing how the red wine treatments are
****! Kenosha had it already?Any of my fellow FIBs go up to grab some NG Cranbic yet? I hit Woodmans on Saturday but so far I've just had the one I chugged in a parking garage in Milwaukee at 2am before driving home. I'm looking forward to trying it under more normal circumstances.

Wish I would have ran in yesterday morning on my way back home now.
While enjoyed almost everything I had yesterday the one thing I will say is that it seemed some of Transient beers were a bit young and needed some time for more of the yeast, bacteria, etc. do some work. Aside from that everything that everyone already said is spot on, although I'm disappointed that Chris went with the logo he did for the glass. I love the logo that's on all the labels a lot more.
Hopefully they brewed as much as Oud Bruin...will be back through the area in a couple weeks. Kenosha always seemed like a week behind Madison getting it.Yep, I figured I'd stop in on my way up to Milwaukee to check, and there it was. Still some Scream and Apple Ale around too but no Oud Bruin as far as I could tell.
Hard to put on the glass though?
I kinda liked the simple hobo stick (or whatever the hell its called). While enjoyed almost everything I had yesterday the one thing I will say is that it seemed some of Transient beers were a bit young and needed some time for more of the yeast, bacteria, etc. do some work. how was the raspberry berliner? That was the one I was looking forward to that didn't tap before we left.
After Corbot_3000 is taken care of I would love to get my hands on a bottle. Looking to do an IP in Chicago. If anybody got any extra Transient bottles and want to do some sort of IP trade, I can definitely meet up during the FOBAB weekend. Have plenty of stuff from Hill, Cigar City, Michigan Breweries (Meads?), CCB, and others.

Swag-wise, my only disappointment was the shirt fit more like a Smedium...guess I just have to do some extra cardio.
Agree with the shirt being on the small side. I exchanged mine for next size up and they did it with a smile. Seriously, the lady was pleased to do it.
So when I looked at my bottles I noticed that one of mine is unlabeled. Is that the one Chris was handing out after the initial pick up? If so it's the Red Wine Obelus, right? Does anyone else have an unlabeled bottle?
All of my bottles are labeled (including the Red Wine Obelus). When did you receive the bottle?
