I bit the bullet and should have one coming my way if they were still available later tonight.Of course, Rue was good and it was "only" 30...

I read it as Rue d'Floyd for some reason too. Didn't drop the coin on the other one though based on the ****** reviews of the Bruery version. Rue was pretty good, probably not $30 good though. We'll see how this BB sour is.Sorry, I meant Rue d' Floyd
I used to, yeah. Not so much anymore.I read it as Rue d'Floyd for some reason too. Didn't drop the coin on the other one though based on the ****** reviews of the Bruery version. Rue was pretty good, probably not $30 good though. We'll see how this BB sour is.
Do people actually land good bottles trading these FFF BA bottles?
Sounds good to me (though I'd personally rather see End of Days than Close Encounter in 4-packs).Pipeworks will can five year-round beers, Lewis said: Ninja vs. Unicorn (an imperial India pale ale), Close Encounter (a hoppy stout), Blood of the Unicorn (a hoppy red ale) and two new beers — a pale ale made with Mosaic hops and a lower alcohol Belgian-style beer. The four-packs will be priced between $9.99 and $11.99.
Fair point, I guess, but walk into any liquor store and see if retailers have managed to sell every drop so far.Pipeworks ... has easily sold every drop of its production so far, and extending to 6,000 barrels of beer likely won't slow its sales.
(emphasis mine)"Growth beyond [Chicago-land] would have to happen organically," Lewis said. "If the beer continues to sell itself, we'll continue to make more of it. The moment we have to start competing to sell beer, that's when we know it's time to slow down. Hopefully that won't come for a long time."
Considering how (over-)saturated Chicago seems to be at the moment, it may behoove Pipeworks to follow Off Color's lead and embrace a wider distribution model sooner rather than later. We probably sell 40 percent of our beer to the national market. So we're a small brewery in Chicago, and we have beer in 23 states, I think.
Just a note to let you know we are in the process of interviewing and seeking a new Illinois beer distributor. If you happen to know of someone, please let us know. We are re designing our package and will re-release this fall in 12oz 4 pack bottles. We hope some will be available her at home.
Meantime, I found 1 case of pizza beer at Lily Lake Liquor (Marathon Gas Station) at 44W322 Rte 64, Maple Park, IL 60151 9Rte 47 & 64 across from Pete's Hot Dogs. Phone first 630-365-6200Ahmed is the manager.
Thanks everyone for your support & let's get Mamma Mia! Pizza Beer back in Chicago!!!!

Is there an easier way to acquire a 6 bottle shipper around Chicago than buying them online? Does anyone sell them in stores?
No ****!?! Never seen them there. Thanks for the heads up.I know Binnys Orland Park does. Uline shippers at a decent price too. All sizes up to 12 bottle.

Big Tiddy Assassin, a flemish-style red ale, is now available in bomber bottles at our to-go kiosk. $15 per bottle with a limit of 4 per person.
Get dem motorboats ready!1. $15 and limit 4? I bet this is horrendous.
2. I wonder if they think they are being all edgy with that name.

It looks a bit like Jennette McCurdy from Sam and Cat...Whose face did they photoshop on to that body?
This!!! And what the **** is with the 4pks of Troublesome and Scurry I saw out in New England last week for almost twice as much as our 6pks?So am I missing something on Off Color's Fierce? Kind of hoping it releases in bottles while it's still (relatively) hot outside.

Do any other breweries do this though? Sixers for home market and 4pks outside.I think their stuff is always re-donkulous priced outside of Chicago.
But if they mess with Troublesome 6 packs for ~$10 I will be very sad. I think that beer disappears faster than anything else I buy once I buy it. I could (and usually do) drink it almost every day.

I'm definitely not complaining. I can get the sixers of Troublesome down here for $8.
