Who else is going to this? Anyone have any other info?
Stealing info from Twitter and "other" sites:
PDUBS will be pouring:
Gerrit's Weirdo Smoked Stout
Chai Dog Imperial Milk Stout
Coffee Break Abduction Imperial Stout
Mint Truffle Abduction Imperial Stout
Half Acre:
- Baumé
- Chocolate Camaro
- Big Hugs
- Triple Smoked Barrel Aged Chubstep
So are people less active on this site, or is it more of slow beer season right now?
But... Pipeworks just released a new Abduction variant! And another Ninja beer! What could be more exciting?!No, everything just sucks now. Dunt was right all along.

More seriously, barely, Trader Joes is selling Straight Jacket for $17/per. I think that's cheaper than what Rev was charging.
Rosa is way underrated. Looking forward to the return. If, like me, you enjoy Heyoka and A Little Crazy, time to stock up until next year -- my understanding is that the last batch of Heyoka has been packaged with Akari Shogun set for April 1st and that there's one more batch of A Little Crazy before Rosa makes a return.
man, what a great event chris put on. i would have paid twice as much in donation for what i got out of it. if you planned your pours right (and the kind of clientele to this event *should have*), you would have gotten to at least get one pour of everything you wanted to try.
double citra had this ridiculous creamy bitterness that is absolutely unique. it's not so much about citra so much as it was that completely unique and delicious mouthfeel that makes their hoppy offerings so amazing. i really didn't want to like it as much as i did. *********.
also, the other highlight for me was whiskey barrel love from new beligum; i doubt you'll find someone that contests that. i honestly didn't have a bad beer all day.
also 2, if you were wondering, chris said, full stop, no bottleshares. it's printed on the flyer he gives you with the tasting cup. trust me, with the draft list he promised and delivered, you won't need to bottle share.
yea although I may not go crazy and drink a ton it's an incredibly good summer beerRosa is way underrated. Looking forward to the return.
The Trib has more information here:Looks like Half Acre is expanding to 2050 W. Balmoral Ave. It sounds like the current and new location will both be used to brew beer, if I'm reading right.

Magliaro said the plan is to make beer in the new Half Acre by October, with a restaurant and taproom to follow. Half Acre will continue to brew at its original location, but with the majority of the brewing heading north, the Lincoln Avenue taproom will likely be expanded.

In particular,
ETA: For anyone who is spatially impaired, like me, and you don't know what 60,000 square feet looks like, Revolution's facility on Kedzie is 35,000 sq ft. I know they have right of first refusal to take on even more of the property, too.
