I know of one store that's waiting to sell their allotment on Friday at 5 -- who knows how early people will be lining up so I've already said to hell with it.
As far as trading, I was thinking of offering a King Henry or Bramble 1:1 for a Coconut but it doesn't seem like that will work (I know, throw up an ISO/FT and see what happens -- and I will, depending on how this week goes).
So would I, if I had a spare CoconutLet me know. I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.
am i weird that I dont like Gillian that much at all and certainly not for that kinda moneyGillian at $23/bottle if I had been thinking straight.

Three Floyds just released Backmasking in bombers (on draft also). Pretty solid and drinkable outmeal stout the last time I had it.
Anyone seen variants at Jewel or Dominicks? Checked in the West loop area but haven't seen any bcbs at either yet.
When?Part of me was hoping that this would have stayed under the radar (call me an optimist - again, I haven't started drinking yet today). Posted now on Goose's events page and BA:

Fulton and Wood - Leisure Suit Release Part

Event description:
There is not a single item of clothing when dug out of the back of the closet that embodies "Everything Old is New Again" quite like a Leisure Suit. And when it comes to Goose Island's final Fulton and Wood release of 2013 the same held true
Goose Island's Leisure Suit is an Experimental Ale showcasing a heritage malt not brewed with for over three decades with an experimental hop that has never been commercially brewed with.
Join Brewmaster Brett Porter as we launch the final Fulton and Wood beer of 2013 at Emporium Arcade Bar.

Via your source(s), any idea what kind of beer it even is? Heritage malt (the hell?) and experimental hops doesn't tell me ****.I hear Leisure Suit "******* sucks".
The mystery hop doesn't have a name yet. It was bred on an AB hop farm. The heirloom malt is an old malt that used to be a favorite in the craft world in the 80's called klages.Via your source(s), any idea what kind of beer it even is? There's a joke to be made about how klages sounds like an STD you pick up while in a Czech hostel but I'll just link to the new label for Goose's The Illinois:The mystery hop doesn't have a name yet. Several cases of regular BCBS at the Ashland Whole Foods as of 7:30 tonight
Jewel on State at Grand has about 4 cases of regular BCBS that just hit the floor (I was the first one to pick some up!). $20.99/4-pack. No variants.
Any purchasing a Begyle Brewing subscription? (http://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/2013...wing-opens-up-beer-subscriptions-on-wednesday) Have they made any beer that is good enough to justify paying them in advance? I can't say that anything I've tried from them has been better than just ok.
