Looking forward to prodding the panel with beeraficionado about the Death of Pale Ale against the supposed "low ABV" trend that White Claw is cresting on.
To be entirely honest, I would be much more supportive of hard flavored seltzer if they were in the 7-8% range. Nothing I can’t wrangle on my own with some gin added directly to a can of Truly - but that does lead me to ask some questions of myself I’d just as soon avoid.

Maybe Rev is working with Spindrift for an upcoming collaboration?? :p

Had Dovetail’s America-goozie yesterday, it’s good. I’d hit it again...

I've enjoyed most of their wild efforts. Plus it's always great to see locals pushing boundaries. Really want to try the elderflower version they just put on

Also tasty, I was talking to a couple fellas I know there and I was told their main goal is to have multiple Ameri-goozie variants on draft all the time. Apparently their stock is plentiful...

This seems like one of those things that might get my panties in a bunch if I was a retailer. Could a brewpub always sell beer for off premise from a different brewery not made at that site?

Pretty much exactly what I predicted would happen when the legislation opened up last year. Just took a few months longer than I expected. I still think this will become normal within the next 1-2yrs.

I didn’t even know that was allowed outside of presumably now being able to fill growlers/crowlers with guest taps.

Given the the original More location sells wine and liquor I think they’re licensed as a brewpub. I know brewpubs have always been able to sell beer to go and have guest beer (plus whatever other type of alcohol) on site, but have brewpubs aways been allowed to sell other beer to go and maybe just haven’t done so? I have no idea there as we never looked into a brewpub license.

Last night some friends and I did a BCS Proprietors vertical including '19 ingredients french pressed on '18 BCS. 17, 14, 13, 19, 18, 16 is my order. 17 was a great bottle. Lots of banana and cinnamon. 14 and 13 are still tasty, but so far from their peak. My first time having 18 since last November. The chocolate was so dry tasting, it felt like it left a chalky film in your mouth. 16 was better than a couple of years ago. The smoky pepper had fell off a little bit, but it's still too much like an ash tray. Not sure what the ratio of Coconut, Vanilla, Cocoa Nibs, and Pecans will be for '19, but I liked what I pressed. Probably could have done less coconut and more pecans.

No 2015?

The FFF distillery is awesome. The Wight VVitch gin is fantastic. The whiskey had remarkable depth and color for only 17 months. The small dessert plates were outrageously good. Bottles to go are a bit pricey for me but the cocktail prices were more than fair.

I left very impressed.

18 is almost undrinkable to me for the same reasons. Worse than 16.
