Any good-local distro beers folks been digging lately? I picked up the Spiteful Radler and it was everything I wanted it to be.
Did you guys ever get a calorie count for Everyday Hero?

An end cap placement and sale pricing convinced me to try Goose’s new light IPA. It’s, uh, fine for what it is and there is a lot of flavor in each can for under 100 calories. I don’t see us going back once we get through what we bought, especially if the Everyday Hero is in a similar range.

Lagunitas’ light option is terrible. Plain water would have been more enjoyable.

Followed the advice Ive been giving to people for years and went to Sheffield's after the Cubs game today. My first visit in quite awhile and it's still a gem. The servers have every right to be ****** with the customers they get but instead they are simply lovely. The brisket sandwich 'Sheffield style' with pimento cheese and jalapenos was great. They have 410 beers on draft.

That is one place I've been wanting to get back to of late. Always see a couple of the old crew slip in before/after Cubs games.

As a Sox ticket holder, I am just never afforded an opportunity to go though.

Went before seeing Electric Wizard at the Vic. Really chill, bunch of great beer, and really enjoyed the food. THe only spot in that neighborhood I still enjoy outside Metro and Smart Bar.

So can anyone give light as to why people bailed to the DDT website? Not really caught up in the beer scene too much anymore.

Same. Didn’t see any changes with respect to TB (I.e. anything similar to the BA exodus), but definitely a drop off in activity.

Cuvée De Grâce
Ten Year Beer

CUVÉE DE GRÂCE
Nodding to the methods and traditions of our brewing forebears, we scoured our barrel stacks for the most unique and expressive components we could find to bring to life this limited edition Cuvée, never to be replicated. A blend of multi-vintage Oatmeal and Rye Stouts establish its full-body and obsidian veil, while a selection of oaky two-year-old Barleywines and Scotch Ale pacify roastiness with their rich, matured malt structures. Enjoy now or store cold.

10 YEAR BEER
On the occasion of our tenth anniversary we present this sophisticated-but-approachable celebratory ale. English Barleywines aged in bourbon and rye whiskey barrels between twelve and twenty-four months establish a base of stone fruit, vanilla, and graham. A blend of sweet and tart cherries lends soft sweetness, acidity, and hue.

Sweet label art for the 10 year beer beeraficionado .

Meanwhile another spot is keeping us at the edge of our seats with are-they-or-aren’t-they-real label submissions.

The donuts in the front yard continue apace.
Up until last week or so, my local Jewel still had cases of BCS available (KBS, too, for that matter). I wouldn’t be surprised if some shitlord got wind of it and bought it all - but I’m thinking instead that Goose has their distributor buy it all back. If it’s actually year round, will people still show up for the media circus on Thanksgiving?
