Speaking of FFF, has anyone tried Pillar of the Beasts? I grabbed a bottle while stopping in earlier this month on my way out of town (wanted some Gumball and ZD for fridge beers), planning to open it at a share in a couple of weeks.
It's good for what it is (very sweet adjunct barrel aged barleywine), and would be perfect for a share where you only want 2oz or so.
Per someone somewhere else, there are close to 400 people in line.
******* losers
So I turned on the TV this morning and it was on the local NBC station in Chicago. They were in the middle of doing the traffic report and did an update on the line at Binny's. This was about 6:30 am and there were, by NBC's estimation, 950 people in line. They also reported that there were 1000 allocations available....

Posted at 1:35 AM I see. Which Binnys did you camp overnight at Dunt?
Thankfully for beer drinkers, there are only 2 or 3 beer styles out of a hundred or so that draw that kind of attention/craze/hype.
we should be good
The same one they handed out free at Jewel and at Prop Day? I guess I’m rolling in max profitz with my hardbound books. The $75 Grit and Grain book? No thanks Goose

Is Orange popular? I'm in northern MI seeing family. Went to the local Meijer at noon today with my parents for groceries. There were ~20 bottles of Orange turding up at $19.99, but all the regular was gone lol.capnmike and I did Wilmette Jewel at 8 this morning, then new Evanston Binny's at 9. Jewel only had regular, Binny's had everything but ran out of Prop and Orange before our spot. I bought a couple bottles of regular for my father in law, and a Wheatwine and bramble.
