Per the other site, Rev starts crowlering today...

we're debuting crowlers today at 2:00pm in the taproom with our new machine. They came out really nice if I do say so. Occasionally, here and there, we'll make a keg of barrel-aged beer available to-go. Like today, with 2018 Straight Jacket. Batch 2000, which is a new (non-BA) Imperial Stout recipe is also available.

I want the record to show that anything Off Color / Mead related I try and send to Mr. Beast.

Also the owners of Elmhurst Brewing Company are good folks, and the Schwarzbier is phenomenal, the Octoberfetst is very good, but got a bit of diaceytl from a number of other offeings sadly...

I've had the diacetyl issue a couple times too though hopefully that goes away as the place settles in. I haven't tried the Octoberfest so will need to make it back over there next week.

Is that maybe the yeast choice/high fermentation? Saw someone in Modern Mead Makers recommend an Oktoberfest yeast for a butterbeer mead (does no one realize Butterbeer is patently awful? And I say this loving rum butter, butterscotch, etc.)

Also let the record show I’m not a HP fan. I’ve never actually seen a full move or read one of the books. My knowledge extends as far as basic pop culture knowledge.

Not sure. My parents left Orlando just before it opened. My dad’s friend did break his arm constructing one of the rides. Actually having gone to the set tour and having looked at all the stuff in the gift shop in London made me decide I didn’t need to go to Universal. I own the one thing I wanted. I may still go one year. Universal has 2 nice parks, but I am less interested in spending time in orlando in general.

I have actually never been either. I haven't been to Universal in ages (10+ years). We're usually in the Disney bubble when we go to Orlando (using their hotel transportation and on-site hotels). Been meaning to make a trip of it.
