Holy Mountain would kill here (yes, I am a major fanboy), but I actually like the fact they don't have enough to distribute to a large market like Chicago. It keeps me excited when I get a chance to visit the taproom or come across it on draft at a bar when I am out in the PNW...

Well really, i kinda think that's what people should be doing now....and what they should have been doing all along. Satisfy your market and grow slowly. Look at Half Acre. Doin' it right, not going apeshit on their growth potential. I see HM the same way.

Also i really want a Crowley shirt.

Do they still regularly make that cedar jai alai? I loved that ****, send that here

side note - had a guinness tripel w/ cascara at uppers and downers (assuming GBH doin work for guinness)...was pleasantly surprised. mustve been sleeping and never realized they have a brewery in the US?

Maryland. There are dual bills going through the state senate right now, one that majorly benefits big in-state breweries like Guinness and Flying Dog and one that would benefit independents. There have been rallies at the capitol over it.

oh...well funk them very much then. it was sorta amusing that the whole festival was downstairs and they stuck guinness upstairs in the corner like a shameful twin brother named hugo.

The Humidor Jai Alai was my first Cigar City beer back 7 years ago? and I loved it. Also love the White Oak.

So dry-hopping a ****** wheat beer in order to make it shittier? o_O

I'm no beer industry strategist, but I think they have to release the "Dry-Hopped" version so in a few weeks they can release the "Double Dry-Hopped" version and get lines around the block. Then for their next anniversary they'll do a "Triple Dry-Hopped Triple Wheat Ale with Flaked Oats, Lactose, and Lychee" version.

It's just science.

consumers have become smarter...why is the hop not listed? dry-hopped with tetra hops? isn't miller lite triple hopped?

Love both of those. Also still dream of Peach White Oak, which they brought to FOBAB in 2012 or so. Still the best smelling beer ever...

Wow, I had forgotten about this beer. I randomly stumbled upon it at a restaurant in Key West 4-5 years ago. I think my brother and I had 10 pints between the two of us with dinner that night and cashed the keg. It was amazing.

has anyone tasted the dry-hopped 312 yet or do we not even need to do that anymore to declare this the worst beer ever made?

duckyboycantfly turns out limiting your ability to purchase a jai alai is what makes something the best beer bar in illinois

I will die on this ******* hill: any bar that has more than 20 taps is not a good beer bar; it's just a bar with a lot of beer. If you can't curate 15-20 lines- or less!- with a variety of awesome beers to appeal to every customer, you are disqualified from being praised as knowing your ****.

*******, you really are from Wisconsin, huh?

my best friends oldest brother had a mullet, pin-rolled jeans, a dangly earring, a sweet ******* mustache and drove a Fiero with a spoiler

he's also the only dude i knew whose parents let him hang centerfolds on his bedroom wall, allegedly.

that's pretty much the pinnacle of cool in 80s Wisconsin

rumor also had it that the guy could not be touched on a Space Invaders machine

i challenge you to put together a profile cooler than that

1 quarter, hours in the arcade just demolishing Space Invaders. guy might as well have been a ******* superhero.

Nah black Camaro IROC-Z with gold trim. Or even better, a black Pontiac Firebird with the gold ******* bird on the hood.
