Jerry's and Small bar division are throwing a cool discussion on Monday. Lagunitas founder Tony Magee, Randy Mosher and Half Acre's designer and illustrator Phineas X. Jones will be there. Also they BA perennial on tap.

Anything that involves drinking beer and listening to Randy Mosher talk is a good time.

Saw a 12-pack of Goose Island's IPA -- with a new label! -- at Warehouse Liquors and thought about it for $18. Then I saw the canning date: March 1, 2014. I know some beers are totally fine after two months, and it's not like GI's IPA is as hop forward as some others but... seriously?! Two months?!

Do you think distributors still make stores buy pallets of GI IPA and 312 to get the BC variants?

Chris is a very generous guy. At the same time he tells it how it is. I remember when I first got on to craft beer Beer Temple was the first real craft beer store I started going to. I was a bit of a hoarder, and he wouldn't hesitate to call me out on it. He was right though, do I really need 5 Bo and Luke or a 12 pack of Péché Mortel. Since seeing Chris's share the wealth mentality I calmed down quite a bit. Even passed up Galactic Daisy Cutter and Bo and Luke recently because I knew that out of those 24 bottles one would make someones day.

On the other hand I would beat a mofo with a sock full of quarters for another Proprietor.

The lolz are worth it, but damn is that group a cesspool of pretty much everything wrong with Chicago beer these days.

Yep, it's pretty terrible. Everyone tries to be all high and mighty and above the ******** in that group, but most of the posting are dick swinging or ball touching posts that make me want to punch everyone in the face. Plus, everyone hang's on Pipework's nuts like they're Chicago's version of Hill Farmstead and it's get old pretty fast.

Anyone know what the times are for the Lagunitas Circus this Sunday? They seem to have forgotten to include that info on all their promotions.

Had to quit that group. Wasn't even worth it to be in the group just to laugh at those homies.

So JEG is in there, which is awful, but all I see is some dudes who are new(ish) to beer. Plus Bruce is there so +10,000 points for that.

Are there just a ton of shitbags I've never met.

this is pretty much all i'm seeing too, though maybe i didn't scroll far enough back.

yeah, **** that.

i really loved five on tap, but pentagram out of the bottle last year was kinda disappointing. i've got two left and i'm not sure when i'm going to drink them.
Was disappointed in Pentagram at FoBAB as well.
Was hoping to grab a bottle, but...
