I realize that it is a Wednesday night out in the western suburbs but there is a train line a few blocks away and some folks live in the suburbs, so I'm going to post it anyhow:
Niche Restaurant / Goose Island Beer Co. beer dinner.
May 20th, 6:00 doors open, 6:30 dinner.

Some of the beers that will be on tap:

2013 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout
2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout
2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Rye Stout
2013 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Barleywine
2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Barleywine
2014 Goose Island Madame Rose
2014 Goose Island Lolita

Stay tuned for more updates

I don't know how in the hell they're incorporating all of those beers into the dinner or if some of them will just be available on tap and some will be included with the dinner. I know that not everybody has stock in BCBS so they might still be looking to try Vanilla Rye or do a side by side. Reservations aren't going to be gone in a flash, so give it some thought before committing rather than reserving a spot then canceling late in the game.

If you have $40 to burn and rather not but a case of ZD, Alpha King or Gumball Head you can now by bottles of BA Behemoth at FFF.
Made that mistake on a BA Klaus with Cassis. Never again.

Although I did drop $20 on a Skull Ole. That **** is quite good.

I honestly can't tell if Off Color just renames their beers for fun or if listings are actually new beers.

For this event (as has been in the previous years), they simply give each beer a cute/creative name involving some of the dogs/cats from the shelter. All the beers listed have been released before / are beers from Off Color's portfolio.

Northdown tweeting that they have 4 different bottles of Cantillon in stock probably led to a mad scramble of folks telling their bosses they just got sick at lunch and need to "go home." Bourbon County Barleywine on draft too so they'll be some sloppy folks by the end of the night over there I venture.
