The "official" thread was also started on BA. You know it's official because it has 4 *'s in the thread title!!!

Until it's locked/deleted by Todd or Jason so they can start their own one, complete with a big copy/paste of either a press release from Three Floyds or a write-up from another beer website.

Last year they halted bottle sharing inside the gates at some point later in the day with the rumor being police had been notified. If it isn't allowed this year I could see many people deciding against attending, myself included.

I don't know if I'd skip, but I might just show up at my time slot, get my allotment, have some guest drafts then leave. No point without the bottle share.

Attend, hope for a good BA bottle, 4-10 guest drafts, leave/sell reg DL to #newmoney on way out, shenanigans at 390.

C U dere.

$10 growlers? Hard to pass that up... (via)

While Haymarket opened on Christmas Eve 2010, we did not have our own beers on tap until a few weeks later - so we'll be celebrating 4 years of awesome brews on Monday, January 12. Tappings will begin at 4pm, and live music from our friends Mr. Blotto will start at 7pm. $10 growler fills will be available of most of the special tappings, though the barrel aged selections will be available only in half growlers. We couldn't have made it this far without all of you, so please come join us as we celebrate!

Throughout our celebration, we are also collecting non-perishable food items for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. If you join us that day, please bring along a can of food for families in need.

Haymarket is located at 737 West Randolph in Chicago (SouthEast corner of Randolph & Halsted).

You'd think they wouldn't need to worry about that at all being Haymarket

Bros gotta be grabbin those barrel aged growlers, yo.

Probably turn them into a sweet case of the Dino if they try hard enough.

I only went for the guest drafts last year. Rum Zhukov had me all like

Does anyone know somebody who could help me acquire an Off Color tap handle? Happy to pay, just need to know how to get it. Thanks!

Kinda off-topic, but:

I'm crushing a growler of Wiseacre's coffee stout and I'm getting flashbacks to that first batch of Hell's Black Intelligencer. HNNNNNG.

What the **** is Wiseacre? Like Half Acre's nerd cousin?

How many damn breweries are open in Chicago now...srs cannot keep up.

Have they made helles black in the last few years? Or have they made it since and the coffee is astringent or the beer ******? I've kinda avoid that place the last couple years due to other people.
