I brewed a batch of saison, Used Belle Saison yeast after bottling i got a discoloration all away around my fermonster exactly where the beer was in it. I used bottled spring water, and it was an extract. It sat overnight with pbw in it.

Did the discolouration happen before or after the PBW soak? Either way, I would try rinsing it with a mild acid (I would try vinegar) and see what happens.

It may be bio-film (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/saison-with-safbrew-t58.631580/). Some strains of yeast are likely to cause this. Belle Saison being one of them as far as i know. I think it is important to get that cleaned. Just one living yeast cell of this yeast can make all your beer becoming saisons for the future. Someone told me that StarSan was not super effective dealing with bio-film.
