I have heard that wyeast has had good results from fermenting there bohemian lager at ale temps. I am curious on doing the same thing with wyeast Munich lager. Wondering if anyone has tried this

Haven tried it yet but I plan to brew a rauchbier this weekend and will be using that yeast and fermenting at ale temps. We will see how it goes lol

Go for it. Steam beer is one of my favorite styles. I've made a couple of batches from WLP500 (San Fran Lager), one with fresh and one with washed yeast, and they are a two of my favorite beers I've made.

I fermented at 62 degrees and lagered for 2-3 weeks in the high 30's.
