My most recent batch, which was the subejct of a recent thread, was left with very little room in the headspace. Of course, during initial fermentation, I had several ounces of krausen travel through the blowoff tube into my sanitizer bucket. I'm not really concerned about this, but I was curious about something.
Does initial krausen have fermentation benefits to it that I've lost since it traveled out of my fermenter?
Fermentation is still ongoing, and is strong. Everything is on pace, and I'm not really concerned about this, but I was curious if you guys had any thoughts.
