I grind the coffee in the Java Presse grinder, pour hot water into AeroPress w/it standing up for it to warm up. Also put hot water in mug to warm up, when electric tea kettle is ready pour hot water over ground coffee in press w/ss screen and cap. Let sit for about 4minutes, turn press over onto mug after dumping water out, press coffee into mug. I then do it again with the same coffee in press for 2minutes into same cup, it yields about a cup and a half of a normal size coffee cup.
We have found this works way better than the original directions from AeroPress even if you only strike your coffee once.
