I’d think they would probably have your number if you have an account. That seems like if it was legitimate they would call you.

But I’m almost positive their fraud invesitgations are usually someone else trying to use your account.

They have both my number and email.

Linkedin has a Douglas Howard Senior Fraud Investigator... yikes keep us informed

Yup, he's been there for a few years. I checked it out, seems legit.

That's what I initially thought as well, but it did come overnight in a Fedex envelope. I haven't Googled the address, and I'm too lazy to do that right now because I'd have to go get the envelope from the recycling. That's a job for tomorrow.

True, did you ship from somewhere far from where you usually do? Maybe out of state?

Nope, just a box of beer out to NY.

This is just bizarre. You should really call Doug so the rest of us are informed. [emoji1]

Lol, yeah I'll get right on that. I will, however, take the letter down to Fedex once the package has been delivered to inquire, and I doubt anyone in the Fedex store will be useful. Perhaps I'll have them call Doug :)

Just deny deny deny...tell them you dont know anything about a box of beer, you were just doing someone else a favor and shipping it for them...

This is why i have my wife do the shipping, so im not seen on any video cameras and can deny that i ever shipped any such box

They won’t deliver it if they know it’s beer. If it gets delivered and they start asking questions, tell them there are some local sodas that aren’t distributed in NY so you sent them to a buddy from your childhood who misses them. Then, RDWHAHB.

I’ve always been advised to write collectibles as the contents (if asked) and to say they are rare collectible beer cans/bottles. Not meant for drinking.

Not sure if that would really work, I haven’t had to try it out yet.

Well, isn't this quite an interesting turn of events...

Just ship by ups. They have no problem shipping beer. Otherwise say it's marinade. They're probably inquiring as to why you're constantly shipping to multiple states. Breaking bad across North America.

I don't think either have a problem with it until they do have a problem with it, lol.

I don’t think most UPS/Fedex employees are actively looking for people shipping some beer to other people who are of age. I think the law is there to prevent underage drinking and sale by unauthorized vendors..
