Hi guys.

I have a Extra Stout fermenting since last saturday. It started fermenting great but by the end of sunday there was not very much bubles in the bubbler.

I did this beer following the recipe provided from my supplyer. It is a 20L recipe, but i have a doubt. The yeast package said: for 10L of beer. I don't know if the yeast will multiply and if it is enough to get the needed alcohol.

Another thing i tought it was strange is the gravity, the recipe sayd from 1.042 till 1.045 for the Original Gravity. I did my measurements and i got 1.052. I followed the recipe step by step.

Well. My questions are:
1 - Will i get the fermentation right with less yeast?
2 - Why my OG is different from the one in the recipe?

thanks a lot for any help provided.
