Experience with Horizon hops?

Hi all,

I'm a newbie brewer and I'm interested in using Horizon hops for their resiny flavour. My question from those who've used them, how much do you need to use to get a big resin flavour in a heavier beer? (1.080ish).

I'm thinking of using them in an American Barley Wine, but I'm not sure how much I can use without having the beer end up in overkill land.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Hey CortexBomb, I'm in the process of designing a sweet stout and I plan on using Horizon. I'm using them for bittering/flavor, I figured half an ounce would be a reasonable amount at 60 and 15; I know you're making an American Barleywine, but I figure I'd give you at least something to compare your recipe to, sorry no real experience.
