I’ve searched the forums for a direct comparison between these two chillers and couldn’t find what I considered unbiased results or optimal use of the products. What I mean by that is you can’t just say the jaded is slower when you don’t recirculate the wort. An immersion chiller isn’t supposed to sit static in the pot.
Is there anybody here who has tried both of these chillers and used them both optimally for their design.
I’m interested to know which is faster for a 12 gallon batch of beer. Which uses less water.
I already understand the benefits and deficiencies of each type. I’d really just like to know an apples to apples comparison of cooling a batch of beer.
