Not a very even match that's for sure. Thomas has been playing very strong today...

And I figured the Flyers would play well and I have Thomas on the bench on my fantasy roster.

They're fine without Pronger, just not when the whole team doesn't start playing when the puck drops.

Game's nearly over and they still haven't started.

What an embarrassment; blown out on home ice in a nationally televised game...

Rangers beat phoenix with less than .1 seconds left in regulation, hahahaha. Whatever works......

Leafs back in 9th place - right where we want to be! Flying under the radar, squeaking in to 8th spot. PERFECT!

So Paulster, let me axk you a question; what is the man-in-the-street's perspective on getting another team in the area?

It would be a massive success I'm sure, the same way the Leafs can be considered a success. By this I mean the majority of tickets would be bought up by corporations, and used to motivate their employees and entertain clients and whatnot. It would be the exact same thing as the Leafs, in that ticket prices would be really high, and the place would be sold out every game.

It'll never happen though - can't go to Hamilton because it would be a slap in the face to Buffalo, and they can't stick the team somewhere like Markham because the Leafs would freak out. They (the League) say the Maple Leafs have no say in whether another team comes here or not, but I don't think anyone really believes that.

Plus, the big paycheck for the League is with national TV audiences. Moving a team here doesn't help this at all. They'd be better off trying to keep a team out west somehow (KC?), or even giving something back to the Quebecers and give them the Nordiques back.

As a fan, I don't give two ****s if there's another team in the area. Leaf ticket prices wouldn't change, and it would just be business as usual. I don't even think they'd see a drop in revenue. I don't think many Leaf fans would suddenly cheer for this new team, but there are plenty of Leaf-haters that would hop on board. It would make for an interesting rivalry over time though - probably like in Chicago where you have "Cubs bars" and "Sox bars". I would passionately hate that team, though. Probably because it would be Phoenix and they would instantly make the playoffs...

Flyers are absolutely killing it. Are they going to win the Stanley Cup? Flyers/Boston and Vancouver/Chicago finals would be interesting (if the Leafs somehow get knocked out early :p).

Torts is such a good guy. Like, a really good guy. Almost makes me want to cheer for the Rags, except they have almost as many dirtbags on their team as Philly...

No. Torts is a ****** if he's not you team's coach. He talks way too much to opposing players and needs to keep his mouth and ass behind his bench since he'll never have to back his words up on the ice.

I'll give you Hartnell and Simmonds being instigators, and Shelley's a ******* catfish-looking guy, but who else?

Not without Chrissy. (as much as it pains me to say that)

I'm hearing rumors about who they're after to bolster the line. They're doing alright for now, it's going to be a crisis if they lose someone else, like Meszaros or Timonen or Carle.

I thought Torts was a ****** until that segment with the kid with CP. That's just a solid move altogether.

The dirtbag reference was nothing but baseless Obnoxious Trash-talking.

Leafs/Flyers in this years playoffs = you're taking me to a game (for protection). That's right - I just used the words Leafs and playoffs in one sentence, and in a positive manner.

Absolutely! It's been way too long (Toronto's fault) since I've seen a Flyers/Leafs playoff game. I'll call you an a**hole before and during the game, and as long as you ditch the jersey like I did in Montreal, afterward, we'll grab some cheese steaks and beers.

Big w for Toronto! Habs are getting hammered!

Leafs in 8th, Flyers in 1st, not too far fetched!

I love that the Habs are getting crushed this year. I hate their sense of entitlement to the Cup.

Rangers Flyers tonight!! Let's go Blueshirts, shut em out, again!!

Not gonna happen and you know it. I can't wait for Simmonds to smack Avery around tonight if he's allowed off his leash enough to play.
