Not necessairly. It depends what day you're going by. If it was last night, it'd be June 16th, 2001 to June 15th, 2011. If you wanted to be really picky, you could factor in the time too, but at that point it doesn't make a huge difference.
Imagine the horror of realizing that come Thursday morning you're going to wake up and you'll still be in West Buttfark, Canada, married to an Eskimo, you have a hockey club made up of Nancys and the Stanley Cup is going to be in Boston for the next year.
You can almost see why they tipped a few cars over and got a little carried away.
Now its time to follow the Red Sox, baby...until August or so
Now begins the summer of our despair.
No hockey until the fall.
I like to watch the Red Sox also... get beat by the Rays![]()
You're telling me! I'm watching the replay of last night's game/celebration on NHL network, just because I'm in denial that its actually over.
Not tonight.....

And yet they couldn't dispose of the Sharks, a YOUNGER mirror image of themselves.
Their defensive core is done, Rafalski gone, Lidstrom all but done. I love the youngsters, but their still the oldest team in the NHL. Don't get me wrong, we still make the playoffs, but you just don't win without a monster defense or a stellar goalie, of which we have none.

Must be a fireman giving mouth to mouth....

Boston became the second city to have all four of its major professional sports league teams play in the league championship finals at least once since 2000, following Philadelphia .
Boston became the first city in the 21st Century to have all four of its major professional league teams win a league championship in a single decade, and it is the only city ever to have championships in all four major professional leagues within a ten-year span (from the Patriots' victory in February 2005 to the Bruins' in June 2011)
