Always interested in anything about the Rockefeller legacy, not because of my time in oil and gas but because I worked at Winrock International when I was a teenager. Many people don't know about the Rockefeller connection to Arkansas; John's grandson, Winthrop was governor. I LOVED working there, I got paid about 30% more than my friends were making in fast food, and the place was so huge. I washed dishes, set up coffee and snack stations, unloaded trucks and helped serve food. Later after my begging, the Chef agreed to help teach me about cooking and he taught me very good knife skills and I did a lot of prep. I always found it very fascinating that someone would just leave that much wealth to charity. The physical location is managed by the local community college now, but the amazing food, and beauty still remain.

Back to books, I finished From Here to Eternity, and read the Stephen King Book "The Long Walk" as I wanted to see the movie in theaters, which I did today.
My reading pace has been dismal lately, as I have some hard deadlines at work coming up and have been putting in extra hours.
