Hi all
made a 2ltr starter on friday night ready to brew this evening.
dO you think there looks to be enough yeast?
23ltr brew with an og of about 1.050-52.
thought would be appreciated

So now I guess the worry would be overpitching?
This is only my third starter as I have usually used dry yeast, but im finding liquid gives more flavor profile for my brews

Hmmmmm
I may sound dumb here, ( im not the sharpest pencil in the pot ) but of ots as easy as 1 billion cells per 1 gram of fermentable, and also reading a half cup of dme weighs about 80 grams them im seriously under pitching, or am I missing something here?
Please excuse my ignorance.

You've probably got it right. If you start with a vial or pack of 100 billion cells, and add that to 1 liter of water and 80g of DME with no stir plate you will grow about 80 billion cells resulting in a total of 180 billion. Not all of the sugar will ferment, but on the other hand, oxygen will allow more cells to grow. Experiments I have done with still starteres show that 1 billion cells per gram of extract added is reasonable.
