Hello.

I really don't want another propane burner going. I have used 15 gallon keg I cut the top off of today. I was wondering is there any cheaper way to put in an electric heating element with temp control for my strike /sparge water? I really don't have access to 240V. I figure I don't need it to boil so I can use 120v? I will still use my single propane burner for my boil kettle. Any thoughts?

Or should I just heat my HTL water on my burner and when I'm finished sparging I just use insulated gloves to move it to concrete and put my boil kettle on the burner? That is the cheap way out...

any cheaper way, ball park a price. you can run a 240V on 110/120 but cannot run a 110/120 on 240 so plan for the future.

I will try to find the links, but with controller, and everything, the cheapest I have seen was $165 for everything.

That's was I figured about 200. I guess I shall just use propane. No need for the links. Thanks for the info!
