I thought Maple was one of the better variants last year. Probably in for one of each and maybe an extra bottle or two of Vanilla and Maple to fill out a case.
I've got one queued up, hopefully I get a chance to open it this weekend.
Is anyone on here still in Brewers Intent? Have they released anything good through that program this year or is it more barrel aged DIPAs and black saisons?
I am like the homeriest homer of all 50-50 homers and quit it this year. I just don't get what they're going for. There's one type of beer they do really well, and they only begrudgingly added it into the club? That's like if Sante's club bottles were all pepper beers. Pass.

Although that black saison surprised me, much better than I was expecting. Not a great beer, but not bad either.

Please don't give them any ideas, they've already made far too many of those.
It's gotten to the point that I can't keep them straight any more. Oh well, at least they've upped their IPA game, and I'd probably take the trade of the pepper beers replacing the smoked beers.

I got you if ya need help, I practically live up there during ski season.

Any chance someone has 3L buyers remorse or has one they'd like to move?

I've got like a 5 year 3L old bottle of EC12 B.A.R.T. we should crack next time you're bowling in Reno or if you happen to make it out for March Madness one year.

Backstory goes there were only 6 of them for the party that year, me and my buddies bought 3 of them (50%). Traded one, drank one the next year and all agreed we'd hold mine and drink it together. Still holding.

Thanks homie. I was looking for one for a wedding reception that already happened.

I know, but why haha. No reason to inconvenience your customers like that.
I've always hated it, but it's especially brutal now that I have a kid and really need uninterrupted sleep.

...Fortunately I managed to wake up without an alarm at exactly midnight, saunter over to the computer and get tickets. I'm not 100% if I'm going to go since my wife looked less than enthusiastic when I suggested taking a mini-vacation to Tahoe based around the party (the kid has never seen snow!), but we'll see.

Well maybe the added bonus of me being there is that extra motivation you need to try and convince her? Haha, I stayed up to help my buddies score tickets but they all ended up scoring. Figured I might as well go now.

Just heard from a friend that in the past you have to pick up your bottles from this the following day. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Strange that it said nothing about that on the event details page if it is infact true. Was talking with friends about renting a bus to drive us to/from the event but if that's the case we will have to stay up there.

The first couple years they did pickup at the party, but as you can imagine it turned into a colossal shitshow. Ever since 2012 or so you've picked up either that morning or the next day. You might be able to arrange a morning pickup of futures, but for anything you buy at the party (and the club bottles) you'd either need to make doe eyes at Alicia or get them the next morning.

There were always a handful of broken bottles outside the brewery the next morning back when they allowed party pickup too. The definitely got tired of replacing multiple party bottles every year.

Understandably. It's really hard to adequately express how bad 2011 was, picking up beer out of the back of a semi after hours and hours of drinking, in snowy weather... Just a bad situation. It's better in the morning.

Also good, this reminded me to make a reservation a the Best Western. Hopefully this year they don't boot me out to the further hotel!
